Homelessness Support

Birribee is developing Aboriginal-led homelessness support services to respond to the needs of community in Western Sydney.

We understand that homelessness is complex and often connected to broader challenges. Our approach focuses on safety, dignity and culturally safe pathways into housing.

What this service offers

Birribee’s homelessness support service which is operational in Parramatta, Blacktown and Penrith Local Government Areas was co-designed with community and partner organisations. The service focuses on:

  • Early intervention and housing pathways
  • Culturally appropriate support
  • Connection to housing, health and community services
  • Strength-based, person-centred support

By working alongside community and service partners, we aim to create support pathways that are practical, respectful and sustainable.
